We are your first source for primary family eye care.   We're open Saturdays to accomodate your busy schedule. And we can see you during your lunch hour during weekdays. We always release your contact lens Rx to you so you are free to purchase your lenses where you want to, not where your eye doctor wants you to. I constantly keep up with the latest in contact lens technology to help you find the best lens available that will suit your needs. I am a contact lens wearer myself and that experience in itself allows me to really evaluate many different lenses and recommend only the best. Whether you have astigmatism or need bifocals there is a contact lens that can work for you. We prescribe what's absolutely the best choice for YOU, not what's best for someone else's pocketbook. In many offices the doctor not only prescribes your glasses and contacts but he also sells the glasses and contacts which may possibly interfere in what he chooses to prescribe to you. We comanage our LASIK patients with the city's premier corneal specialists, Dr. Henry Gelender and Walter Beebe of the Cornea Associates, whose practice provides first class, professional care to our patients. I'm a therapeutic optometrist, meaning that in the unfortunate event you have an eye infection or minor eye emergency you can be seen here immediately rather than go to the ER or a primary care clinic, wait a long time and then probably not be seen by an eye doctor. We acccept your medical insurance for these types of visits. We accept most medical AND vision plans and file the claim on your behalf.
