Meet the Doctors!
Prashant Jyothi, OD
Education: I graduated from Permian High School and the University of Texas Permian Basin while living in West Texas (Odessa) and I received my Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry.
Personal Interests: Travel, cooking, playing pickleball and tennis.
I'd describe my office as: Small in space but big on care. I have a great staff and have learned over the years how important that is
I've been practicing optometry: for about 35 years now and have been in my current Lake Highland's office for over 34 years.
Family: My wife Priya, our son, Varun who recently joined the practice and our daughter Annika, a 3rd year medical school student in Houston. We are proud of the young adults that they are growing up to be. And there's Mia, our 9 yo poodle mix who is our fur-ever baby.

Varun Jyothi, OD
I’m very pleased to announce that we have a new doctor in the office. Varun Jyothi, my son, has joined the practice. He will be providing the same level of personalized care that I have tried to deliver for over 35 years. Varun completed his bachelor of science degree at University of Oklahoma and was on Dean's List for all 4 years he was there. He then completed his optometry training at my alma mater University of Houston College of Optometry. In addition to receiving several service award recognitions he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, a national optometric honor society that recognizes those who demonstrate academic excellence.
In his spare time Varun loves to travel, work out and spend time with his girlfriend who is also an OD and their dog, Honey. He is also a big Mavs and Cowboys fan.
